f you’re here because your child has big feelings, the kind that show up as meltdowns, shutdowns, yelling, tears, or constant power struggles - you’re in the right place. Many families I work with arrive feeling exhausted, worried, and unsure what to try next. That does not mean you are doing something wrong. It means you are responding to something that is genuinely hard.
I work primarily with children and families who want support understanding big emotions and learning how to move through them together. With kids, therapy often involves play, creativity, and movement as a way to explore emotions. My goal is to help kids feel understood while building skills they can use in everyday life.
I also place a strong emphasis on supporting parents and caregivers. Big feelings do not exist in isolation, and children do best when the adults around them feel supported too. That means clear explanations, practical strategies, and space to ask honest questions without judgment. I want therapy to feel approachable and supportive for the whole family.
While much of my work focuses on children and families, I also support teens and adults who are navigating big emotions, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
My work is shaped by the needs of each child, individual, and family. I focus on strengthening relationships, building emotional understanding, and helping families move out of constant crisis mode and into more connection, confidence, and clarity. Therapy is collaborative and flexible, and tailored to what feels most supportive in the moment. My approach may include:
