In most cases, only one parent's consent is required. However, if you and your co-parent are separated or divorced with a shared custody arrangement, both parents will typically need to provide consent. This may vary depending on the terms of your custody order or parenting agreement — feel free to contact us if you have questions about your specific situation.
Yes, we have a limited number of sliding scale spots available for those who require a reduced fee. Sliding scale options can be discussed when you book your appointment or during your free initial consultation. Please reach out to us directly for more information.
We currently direct bill the following insurance providers. We recommend confirming your coverage with your provider before beginning therapy, as plans vary.
Please note that many providers do not permit direct billing for provisional psychologists. Services provided by provisional psychologists are still eligible for reimbursement — it would just need to be submitted by you rather than billed directly.

It depends on your insurance provider. We are able to direct bill many major insurers, though some require clients to pay upfront and submit for reimbursement themselves. Either way, the absence of direct billing does not mean your services won't be covered — it simply means the reimbursement process goes through you.
Most insurance plans cover psychological services provided by a registered psychologist, though coverage varies by plan. Some plans set limits on the number of sessions or the total amount reimbursed per year. We recommend reviewing your individual policy or contacting your provider directly to confirm your coverage.
Our fee is $235 per therapeutic hour, in line with the Psychologists' Association of Alberta (PAA) recommended rate. We accept credit card, e-transfer, and cash.
