About
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta, as well as a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge.
My approach to counselling incorporates techniques from various therapeutic models. Every person brings a unique life experience and a way of making sense of the world. I believe therapy works best when it is tailored to you, your needs, your pace, your strengths and goals. I bring a strengths-based, collaborative approach to therapy, focusing on helping clients better understand themselves and build a life that is more sustainable, authentic, and aligned with their values.
I have a special interest in working with neurodivergent clients. I was diagnosed with ADHD later in my life. Receiving my diagnosis shaped my path towards a career that I am so grateful to work in – it has also strengthened my commitment to helping others feel seen, understood, and supported. My lived experience allows me to offer therapy that is not only evidence-based but is also grounded in an understanding of the challenges and strengths that come with being neurodivergent. Together, we can focus on understanding your experiences, developing practical skills and self-compassion, while also honouring that many struggles are shaped by systems that were not designed for neurodivergent people in mind.
Regarding my personal life, I am blessed to have a strong support system of family and friends. I enjoy travelling, spending time outdoors, shopping for antiques, gardening, and watching football. I especially adore spending time with my two dogs.
