Gaby Guzman

Provides services in English and Spanish. 

Gabriela (a.k.a Gaby) is a master's student in Counselling Psychology. She moved to Edmonton from Perú at a very young age and has maintained her culture and language. Gaby has experience in working with children with behavioural disorders, such as Autism, ODD, and Conduct Disorder from having worked in the school system as a behavioural therapeutic assistant. She did her undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biological Sciences. She has always been interested in understanding individuals at a deeper level, in terms of personality and functioning. 

Having taken part in supporting students with behavioural disorders, Gaby has decided to embark on working with adults with a range of life experiences. Her current interests include family, relationships and interpersonal concerns. Gaby is very eager and excited to start her practicum at Little Tree Psychology and hopes to be able to support you, as she believes that building a growing relationship with the client is the first step in the therapeutic process.
